Bus 1: The Smithsonian
Yesterday, we visited the renound Smithsonian of Natural History! When we first entered the museum, a giant elephant [Henry] greeted us at the center of the circular walls. As you looked up, you could observe the multiple levels above you, and the exhibits inhabiting them. Our tour guide for the day, Ron (or as he liked to be called, Obe Ron Kanobi, because he has a light saber), directed our attention to several exhibits that might catch our interest. Some he suggested included the buttlerfly exhibit, the mummies, insects, and the famous Hope Diamond. We all then ventured off in our own separate groups to explore. It was quite crowded, and you could tell lots of other schools had the same idea as us. The mummies caught my attention particuarly, espescially how intricate the sarcophagus were. I enjoyed the Smithsonian of Natural History thoroughly, and hope to come back soon, and maybe go to some other Smithsonians also.
